Cancer New Moon – Trust your intuitions!

The intensity between our personal and professional world is palpable at the current Cancer New Moon. New emotional intentions are coming through to trust our feelings and intuitions. We may be having deeper thoughts about what and who really matters to us. The focus is on our family, our health, where and how we live. The New Moon is on the 18th July 2023 4.32am AEST (Sydney) at 24º56’.

The Lunar Nodes are also changing from the Taurus – Scorpio axis to the Aries – Libra axis, putting emphasis on our selves & our relationships with others. Our aim is to understand who we are, why are we here and what are we meant to do here at this time? What is it that we truly want in our life and how can we attain it? Are we in the career that we enjoy and is this what is meant for our soul to grow? 

Tuning into these questions can open up some feelings that we may have pushed down, because we were not sure how to deal with them. As we pay attention to our feelings and intuitions, we may decide to make a major move in the area of our home, career, health or what we believe in. 

As the Cancer new Moon arrives, it oppose Pluto in Capricorn at 29º13’ and they both square the Nodes moving into the Aries – Libra axis. This alignment creates a Cardinal square, which brings a huge energy shift in the direction of new manifestation of what we desire rather than being stuck in an old emotional pattern that no longer serve our needs. 

The Nodes at 29º43’ being in the final degrees shines the light on something that we may feel that we have finished with. The focus now shifts on not just how we serve others, but how we serve our own needs. It’s almost like an energetic reboot of our true self! 

The new moon will shine a light on the areas in our chart where Mars is travelling through. Mars is in the sign of Virgo until the 27th August 2023 and this helps us to focus on the work ahead of us that needs to be done. The focus is on our daily habits and implementing change to achieve what is important to us. 

The sign of Virgo is ruled by Mercury and Mars being there now has to answer to Mercury by thinking strategically rather than being impulsive! Limited thinking or a perfectionist attitude just won’t do it! Our horizon must widen and on the 21st of July when Mars gets in opposition with Saturn delays can prompt us to stop pushing for things that’s not working in our lives. 

Next month when Mars will harmonise with Pluto something will come to light more prominently and we may get an insight regarding our progress in life and what we might need to change. Our willingness to try and being prepared to “fall” is part of being a human. Putting extreme pressure for being perfect is not the aim. Don’t get bogged down by “paralysis through analysis” The chase is for all of us to be better today than we were yesterday. 

Don’t chase or be desperate, but be purposeful. Don’t stress just do your best to make your wants wanting to chose you. Your journey is yours alone, so embrace your uniqueness!
